Stars of Rajneeti Expecting National Awards For Rajneeti

Katrina Kaif may be expecting winning 58th National Award for Rajneeti and this means a lot for her certainly though chance seems poor. She played a role, which is similar to Bhism of Mahabharata who was forced into the battlefield, but furthermore there are no similarity. She acted well, but her character was poor and role rather short.

Manojy Vajpayee has a good chance to get his first Best Actor National Award for his role in Rajneeti, which is likely inspired by Duryodhana. He really played this role very well and his character and role was also strong.

Ranbir Kapoor (an outsider who overturned every rule of the game, Like Krishna) also can get his first National Award for best actor.

Lastly who have won in the past are certainly capable to win this year. Two national award winner Naseeruddin Shah (For Paar 1985 and Sparsh 1980) and Ajay Devgan for The Legand of Bhagat Singh and Jakhm and Arjun Rampal this won best actor in supported role for Rock on. These actor have really good chance in Rajneeti to won a National award.

Prakash Jha believes that Both Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor can win National Awards for Rajneeti which he believes is the biggest multi-starrer since Sholey.

Main Casting of Rajneeti

(Nasurdeen Shah) has a short and rather weak role in Rajneeti. His character is somewhat ideal, but failed to control himself and left alone the lady for whom he was ideal and loves who she left alone and never come back.

Katrina Kaif As Indu Sakseria Pratap

Ranbir Kapoor As Samar Pratap

Ajay Devgan As Sooraj Kumar

Nana Patekar As Brij Gopal

Manoj Vajpayee As Veerendra Pratap

Arjun Rampal As Prithviraj Pratap

Nana as an anger management advisor

Everyone believes Nana Patekar to be a lose tempered person. If it is a truth then it would certainly be in the past as Nana is helping to manage anger of director Prakash Jha while shooting of his most awaited Rajniti-2009.

Prakash Jha was shooting at Kotra Ground just outside Bhopal city where crowed went out of control and Prakash Jha was screaming at crowd and Nana Patekar was calming down Prakash Jha by saying that "Pyar do to sab waapas pyar dete hain"

Prakash Jha admitted that Nana is helping a lot during shooting and he is used to be a different person while shooting. Read more.

Prakash Jha's Rajniti and Orkut

Rajniti (2009) and orkut
Prakash Jha's Rajniti is going to be a big hit in comparison to his last two films (Gangajal and Aparhan). I am confident about this because Prakash Jha has taken about five years to get this film on floor. The gap between Gangajal (2003) and Aaparhan (released in December of 2005) was about two years while gap between Aaparhan and Rajniti is about 3 plus years so hoping more serious thinking and work from Prakash Jha and other fact is it is a multistarrer movie with great star value. If one looks india's largest social networking site orkut and search fan members of their community Rajniti is far ahead in comparision to Prakash Jha's last two movies. Take a look.

Nana Patekar-56 communities (largest three 1843, 603, and 170)
Katrina Kaif-1000 communities (largest three 203380, 71352, 29104)
Ranbir Kapoor-532 communities (largest three 55,610, 39321, 26016)
Still remaining Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Vajpayee.

I got surprised when I saw significantly less fan members of Ajay Devgan. I think this is due to very young boys and girls are using orkut and officially they would like Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor more. By viewing, huge orkut fan members it is certain that both Katrina and Rabir have a bright future so likewise Rajniti has a great chance to be a big hit.
