Prakash Jha (प्रकाश झा) is most known for his political and socio-political films i.e. Damul (1984), Mrityudand (1997), and Gangaajal 2003.
Prakash Jha(Born in 1952)raised in Shikarpur Narkatiaganj, West Champaran, Bihar, India.
Prakash Jha came to Bombay to be a painter and decided to be a filmmaker after seeing the Shooting of Dharma.
He started film making in 1975 by making documentary "Under The Blue"
